After a serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps, I began my Telecommunications career in 2000. I have 20+ years vested in the industry. I started my career as a government contractor at the Air Force Research Laboratory in Mesa, AZ where I maintained the bases security posture in communications. I also worked for a notable billion dollar company where I managed a Telecom team in the healthcare industry, where I was very successful. After a divorce, I relocated to be closer to family. I started the next phase of my career working for a CLEC in the Portland, OR area. I took on a more senior field technician role where I serviced about 400+ clients for both CPE equipment and services cutovers. In 2015 I relocated again. This time to Hawaii where I continued to round out my on the job experience installing and maintaining systems in the hospitality sector. Covid hit the Hawaii's hospitality market hard, and I found myself on the job market. Within a month I was hired by another NEC Dealer and carrier in Hawaii where I fill a Professional Services role, and a NEC Sales Engineering role. This is my story, and I feel it has made me very well rounded in my experience.
